I wish I could give you an honest answer, but I can help...I am not on clomid YET...but am ttc for 2 years and just started with a reporductive doctor...so as far as ovulation pain..I get a "burning" sensation in my uterus to where it hurts to walk...I also get a really bad pain in my right side where I have a cyst, but the doctors say it is fine...more then three doctors have said its fine. So honestly I know the discomfort your in during ov. As far as pain, have you tried any tylenol? It does help...and it is safe to use while pregnant so it would be safe to use while ttc.

I am not sure if you have the same thing I do... Every time you ovulate, you get a cyst which usually goes away on it's own with no issues. Mine, however, do not go away on their own and get bigger and bigger until they finally pop. It's been like this for the last 10 years, and I was told it will always be like this. It hurts really, really bad all the way through my back like you are describing. But a day after they pop, the pain goes away. I had gone to the ER thinking something was terribly wrong. That's all it turned out to be, we could see it on the sono during the pain, and confirmed with a follow-up sono the next day.

Yes it is. ESPECIALLY if you have not ovulated in a long time. It may even be uncomfortable to have sex. Sometimes ovulation can even cause spotting. I do not think that it could be the result of releasing two eggs, but it probably means you might not have ovulated for awhile.
