I remember that show, on channel five a few years back, personally I don't know how they managed it, I can keep going for quite awhile without any sleep, resting my eyes sometimes, but I would have had trouble staying stood up after an hour i'd want to sit down and it would be no good if you were dying for the toilet and the next toilet break is ages away, crikey!

I stayed awake for 4 days once but that was my birthday weekend. I celebrated from the Thursday till I got on a flight to New York (from London) on the Sunday. I survived on cigarettes, pinks off beer and showers to keep me awake

Mine was only about 72 hours, but I drank a sh** load of coffee and smoked about 3 packs of cigs to keep going.
