I used the norton removal tool, because i did notice so many other files looked the same name, yet they wasnt connected to norton.so need to be very carefull when deleting files, but it did work, I then rebooted and run a search on pc and all was fine.
PS I did of course go to add/remove progs before doing anything else.

I found a tool to remove Norton products developed by Norton themselves.

Norton Removal Tool can remove:

1. Norton AntiSpam 2004 and 2005
2. Norton AntiVirus 2003 through 2007.1
3. Norton Ghost 2009, 9.0 and 10.0
4. Norton GoBack 3.1 through 4.2
5. Norton Internet Security 2003 through 2007.1
6. Norton Password Manager
7. Norton Personal Firewall 2003 through 2006
8. Norton SystemWorks 2003 through 2007
9. Norton Confidential Online 2007
10. Norton Internet Security Add-on Pack
11. Norton 360

You can download it from my blog entry on this subject.

The BBC paid £3 million for Graham Norton- you are not going to get rid of him. Just face facts.

I'd love to get rid of Graham Norton too, but if the BBC keeps giving him shows to present, what can we do?
