It may just be a ligament. If this is not her first time pregnant then she will not feel the same things. Each pregnancy is different. One of my dear friends is on her fourth and everything is different this time.

my daughter is 4 months old and my C-section incision still is sore to touch and burns sometimes. they told me it was scar tissue and all the pain would never go away! you still have about 2 more months before you completely heal so take it easy. most definitely no vacuuming or lifting heavier than the baby for another 2 weeks! good luck

That sounds like heartburn to me; try Gaviscon (that's what my OB recommended for me). Thankfully, antacids don't get into the blood stream, so they're no danger to the baby, and all they produce when combined with stomach acid is plain old water !

You didnt say whether it was internal or external.
Its very possible the stretching and dry skin is causing burning.

Lotion/emu oil is great for moisturizing.

It needs investigation if it is constant.

I would guess there may be pressure on the biliary duct. But unless one can examine her it is all guess work
