I was sitting around and was wondering which album was the best and which was the best Eddie. So which album is your favorite Iron Maiden album and which Eddie is the coolest?

Hard question to answer because lots of maiden albums are great for different reasons... for example, MOLAT is probably the most technichaly superior album, yet maybe something like Number of the Beast may be better in terms of raw energy....

If I had to take one maiden album with me to a desert island I would probably choose a live album.. either Live After Death or Rock in Rio...

If I HAD to choose a studio album... I guess Seventh Son... I just love the 'complete-ness' of that album... the whole thing seems to gel.

As for the best Eddie... Thats easy!! Bounty hunter eddie from Somewhere in Time!!! There used to be this computer games store in Birmingham... and on the wall was a giant mural of bouty hunter Eddie... I used to think that was both terrifying and absolutely magic when I was a kid!

Classic Maiden: Maiden Japan
Newer Maiden: Seventh Son of a Seventh Son

Way too many Eddies but the Number of the beast cover was wicked.

A that's hard right there, my favorite is Run To The Hills & A Matter of Life And Death. While Eddie looked at his best in (couldn't choose)

A Matter of Life and Death
Fear of the Dark
Iron Maiden
Run To The Hills
Trooper

I never was an Iron Maiden fan, per se ... I was more into hip hop and Metallica in the late 80s ... but I loved the Iron Maiden mascot Eddie ... I got the poster "Stranger in a Strange Land" and it was on the wall in my room for years ... lookin' all awesome.

I love the idea of cyborgs. Always wanted to BE one after seeing Robocop back in the day.
