What if you have a best friend that has a boyfriend that is cheating on her, and you know but she doesn't? If I tell her, it might ruin our friendship. If I don't, she would be upset when she finds out herself.

Tell her boyfriend you will give him the chance to tell your best friend, otherwise you will break the news to her.

This has to be a friendship for a long time to tell them what you saw! But if this is a true friend and that you are a true friend thentrue friends would believe in one another. TRUST one another! If your friendship has been round for years and she has plenty o ftrus tin you then you need to tell her that emergency! If she gets upset then thats on her! Let her be. You on your own on that one.Guys don't ever come between good friends. And if she get mad then she don't have no trust in you. Either way, she going to get mad so it really wont make a difference. I'd let mine find ou tfor her self. Catch him in the act and take her to him quietly . People do things in the dark soon come out in the light, so I suggest leave it alone.

You're in a sticky situation. I would suggest quietly confronting the boyfriend and tellign him that if he doesn't do the right thing and tell her then you will. Give him a time limit, like until the end of the week or something. if he just breaks up with her without tellign her why then you should tell her so she doesn't feel bad about herself. I think though that as soon as it comes out, you need to tell her that you knew and give her your reasons for keeping quiet. She might be mad for a little while but you should keep trying until she realises you were looking out for her. After all, it is her relationship and it's not your responsiblity to fix whats wrong in it.

The way I see it is if the roles were reversed would you want her to tell you? If it were me I would want to know! I don't know why it would ruin your friendship. If anything she would trust you more since you looked out for her. In my opinion I don't think you should let her be a chump. Or even worse get pregnant or married to this scum bag. I say look out for her best interest and that means encouraging her to be with a guy who treats her right.

WOW!! You are in a tough situation. I'm sorry, and I know others would disagree with me on this, but if you've known your friend for along time and you can tell her anything I would tell her. She will be upset either way. Just make sure you know for darn sure that her b/f is cheating.

you do what you think is the best thing for her. if her boyfriend is going out with another girl she would want to know. so if you tell her say something like you would want me to tell you if your boyfriend is cheating on you or something. do what you think is the best thing for your friend. :0

U should be a REAL friend and tell her, and tell her ur telling her cuz u care about her and want to help her. Maybe she'll get mad at first but it'll pass when she realizes it's true and u'll get her prepared for the shock.
It would just b plain wrong and mean not to tell her, girl!.

I think that you should deffinately tell her. If she was really your best friend she wouldnt get mad at you. If she was a real friend, she might thank you. Either way she will still feel sad. Just do what you think is right. There is no right or wrong thing to do.

Do you really think it's gonna ruin your friendship? I can't see the reason for that. You know, I think that she may even be thankful to you.
(Play her Beyonce's song 'Irreplaceable' and she may find herself in it and proudly say that she doesn't need him.)

If it was my best friend, I definately would tell her. She will be more upset if she finds out you knew and didn't say anything.
