Last night some friends and I were sliding down this icy hill [because we had some nice wintry weather lately] and when I was climbing back up my friend pushed me and I fell pretty hard. I cut my hands open a little bit, but no big deal. The problem is, whenever I bend my wrists at all, my hands start shaking really badly. Anyone have any idea why this might be?

sounds like your hurt your tendon. Give it a week to heal and if it isn't better by then take a trip to the Dr's. Your tendon is what makes you bend your wrists. If you've damaged or strained it, it will shake. Sort of... think of a rubber band.

I just said the same to another person who had fallen on the ice and hurt their leg - do get it checked out by a doctor or nurse if you can! It sounds as if you might have a bit of damage to the nerves in your wrists or hands - and/or it could be the sheer shock of what happened! Beta-blockers (Propranol) are very good for shaky hands due to stress or anxiety - as I well know - but hopefully yours will settle down by themselves soon. Do get your hands checked out though!
