I'm seriously always bored. I'm 12 and there is nothing for me to do. Any ideas on what I can do to bust the boredom? Any idea on why I might always be bored?

Because I live out in the country their isn't much to do. My friends live like 20 minutes away and we don't get to hang out much out of school since my mom works a lot and my dad doesn't live with me.

Boredom is a state of mind.Thinking helps you overcome this state of mind.That is why playing a game,reading ect... you don't feel bored.You best bet is to find something you enjoy and dive in such things if you like them could be reading,sewing(all kinds of needlecraft around),playing games,writting letters to friends and family,writting poems,painting your nails with all different kinds of designs(with pratice you could get quite good at this),(don't laugh but)coloring book and crayons,drawing pad and pencils use your imagination I am sure you can think of something to entertain yourself!GOOD LUCK!

Get a hobby, read a book, meet friends, watch TV, go on the internet play games. There's lots of things to do when you are bored. I'm bored now and it's Christmas eve, so I'm on Yahoo Answers doing this.

you are probably bored because it is winter and there is always less to do and places to go, I guess that depends on where you live though. Maybe you can redecorate your room or get a beading kit and make bracelets and necklaces and earrings. Honey there are lots of things to do you just need to find what interests you. Puzzles? Painting? Reading? I have a sister a little younger than you and right now she is way into beads and scrapbooking. She loves to paint too. Maybe you could take up some dance classes. It's in your heart you just need to find something that interests you.

Read...read...and then read some more. Read fun books, mysteries, science fiction, sports stories -- whatever interests you! Turn off the TV and read. Or get out and move. Run around the block. Do something you don't think you can do. Do you like running? Try training for a 10k race. Don't think you can do it? Train for it. A little bit at a time. Nothing like a goal to get you focused and out of your rut.

if you're creative maybe you should try making clothes/handbags and since you have a computer sell them on myspace of something :]
or you can start scrap booking, it's a great hobby!
the possibilities are endless, think of something that interests you and go for it : )

i think u should hang out wid ur frends. go out have fun even if its cold.haha! anyway my mom wouldnt even let me go out so i get bored maybe thats the saym prob as u?

Keep on looking and trying EVERYTHING new and you WILL definitely find what interests you >>> eventually.
