...sweaty, testosterony, strong cowboys? With balance, skill, and a drive to accomplish something? That are resourceful in the elements? And strong enough to chop wood for hours, but occasionally sweet enough to pick you a flower? No clue!

I live in the West, and let me tell you, real cowboys are NOT sexy in any sense.
They are skinny, ropelike creatures with cow and horse shizt on their boots.
They are sunburnt to the extreme, and many are missing a tooth or three from being thrown off Broncs.
They are mostly nice guys, though.

Wow, good question.
Country boys know how to treat their women and are very protective of them...
Now on the subject of cowboys, they are awesome.
Very rugged looking, confidence, tight jeans and when they get off the horse/rodeo and start walking away, boy are they firm...

Depends if you are talking about the image that is projected by songs, movies and bar's or real cowboys...cause there is a hugh difference...and I doubt most people would recognize a real cowboy if he were standing on their toes...

Rednecks sicken me. There is nothing worse than being with someone that is known for being ignorant and racist. In my area they ride around in souped up pick up trucks with the rebel flag waving wildly in the air, with bumper stickers that say, "Thanks for all the cotton", and "The South is Going to Rise Again!". Nothing is attractive about a toothless, tobacco chewing, pig wrestling idiot. Those are the real rednecks I know.

Because they are the last of the symbols of a once glorious male past where a man could live as a man,the supreme being yet chivalrous and caring towards women and knew how to treat them.

Stop asking such questions lest the feminist realize what you are saying and go after them as well and casterate them.

I am not attracted to cowboys or rednecks. In other words, not all women, as you suggest, think they are so "manly". Frankly, I personally find them kind of stupid :-)

dunno what "real" cowboys are, anymore. Most ranches use jeeps and helicopters these days.

Women are attracted to men that do hard physical work for a living, though, as long as they aren't stupid and they aren't pigs. They get a look you can't get from pumping iron. And they age a lot better than accountants.

It depends - du-uh - on the 'perceiver'. Where I live these terms, (especially 'redneck') are used in a pejorative sense.

They are known for being chivelrous and earn a good living with their hands. Basically the boy a girl's parents want for them.
