The MPAA doesn't rate them. My son is 4 1/2. He plays Power Rangers at school, even though he's never watched them.
Who do the Power Rangers fight? Do they kill their opponets? Is it gory?

Power Rangers fight evil monsters. There is no gore or blood.

I didn´t let my son watch them until he turned 5 and I sat down and watched the show with him. The show eventually grew on me and accepted that my 3 year old watch also. I have one major condition though: no kung fu fighting after the show. They tend to be a bit excited after the show ends but have accepted this rule to be able to keep watching the show. There are a lot of blasts, explosions, etc. and somewhat scary-looking monsters but since I (at least I try most of the time) watch the show with them I explain the technical stuff to them so they understand a bit. In the end, its just the same good vs. evil storylines and the best thing is that they emphasize team work.

i used to watch the power rangers way back in the beginning. i loved it because they used to teach children things, good morals, and stuff like that. the power rangers mainly fight the powers of evil, whether they be a group of clay beings (putties), or machine fighters, or just random monsters sent by the big bad evil at that time. they defeat thier opponents. when a monster is defeated, it falls to the ground and disappears in an explosion. it's not gory at all. there is no blood and nothing that would disgust you, unless there is a gross monster. i think it's ok for your son to watch them, but if he is playing power rangers, he should know that hitting is bad, and he shouldn't hit his friends when they are play it.

Not gory at all...when I used to watch it over 10 years ago they fought Putty Monsters and Robot type monsters...mostly with karate type moves and their own Megazord which was made of different robot Dinosaurs. I do not know how it has changed over the years but it used to be okay for that age group. The shows had a lot of life lessions in it too.
PS- I was like 13 or 14 and watched it for the guys lol

I used to watch them when i was 3 and 4. It's geared toward kids ages 4-12, so it should be fine for your son to watch them.

there's no blood, gore, or killing. You're son should be ok watching it, I have a little brother who watches it.

He is the right age...no blood and gore, just good guys and girls against the bad guys and girls...
