I spent 12 months on an around the world trip and have loads of travel stories as I frequently ended up in very bizzarre sometimes dangerous situations, what's your most bizzare or scariest travel experience?

The plane lost one wheel on taking off. So, when it reached destination a crash landing was forecasted. Everybody on board was scared of what would happen. Fortunately the pilot managed to have a safe landing. The plane moved a lot due to imbalance, and the tarmac was quite damaged as the plane left a deep furrow on its track.

I was at this one airport in Conn. and I heard a man asking this agent "what town was this?" and when the agent told him he asked the agent 'how did I get here?" and the agent said " sir, what do you mean how did you get here. Didn't the agents on the other end look at your boarding pass?" and the guy said "no they just told me to get on this plane here at this gate here." The agent went over and called the town that the guy said that he left from and turned out that the other agents were looking for him because after the plane took off they realized they had too many people on board and decide to deal with him when the plane landed in the next state.
You can believe it or not but I know it because I was there and I heard the whole conversation.

I was in a public place and the IRA blew it up. Got a concussion. Makes a great story, but not for the person who died and the 33 seriously hurt.

We were flying down the highway in Mississippi and it was summer, I told my husband it looked like a lake up the road he said it was the heat reflecting............next thing we knew we were in a lake almost up to the window seals, they had had a flood and no one had put up a closed road sign...................I cannot swim and my husband very little, we were able to back our car out of there and we went back to the town and reported that there were no signs up........to me it was VERY scarey!!!!!!!!

Last time I travelled...I was surounded by a group of thieves who were intending to rob me. I hugged my bag...looked one of them in the eye and ordered him to MOVE from infront of me.
after a few seconds...he did. But it was scary.

i went to London...........it was like i was on another planet.....it stank every where! prices were outta this world! people weren't people but Animals!, it was like a dog eat dog situation.....
