Deathnote= is in the top 7th rank of TV Asashi's top 100 anime's in Japan 2006... although a bit gory... no, it IS gory...^^... the plot rivals that of the show, CSI... a BRILLIANTLY thought out series... you can watch the anime on youtube... it is really EXCELLENT! ^^

It's a great manga but if you're talking about the actually Death Note notebook in the manga then it's evil!
I think the art and story is amazing. It's definitely a great book.
