It's a great song, but I just realized how silly the lyrics were.

It could be a roundabout reference to Ezekial's vision of "wheels within wheels". This vision has always fascinated and haunted me.
Now that I study the lyrics, it appears that it is a simple reference to the unending cycle of seasons. I like my first idea better, even though it is wrong.

I consider Turtle - save the rubber section down. yet, the Sky Wheel is what they call the double ferris wheel in the carnival business enterprise. while the wheel is popping, the teach is open. (that's a diverse sort of adventure!)

It's a good song I know. I've got two answers for you.
The Funny One: Because the wheel doesn't want you to know where you'll be tomorrow.
The Serious One: It means that life is uncertain.
Tip: As uncertain as life is you could be better off having dessert before dinner.
