You should probably ask your doctor that question. How long have you been trying? It could just be bad luck - even when both partners are perfectly healthy and normal and they do everything right, the chance of actually getting pregnant is only like 25-50%. You might be having intercourse at the wrong time - do you know when you ovulate? You might have a medical condition that prevents you from ovulating. Your partner might not have good enough sperm. The list of why some people don't get pregnant is practically endless!

You haven't provided a lot of information here, but there are so many reasons that conception may take a while. To begin with, it's rather like hitting the lottery in the first place. Stress, illness, and other things can affect conception as well. Are you charting cycles and seeing that you're ovulating, and having sex at the right time? If not, that's a good start towards figuring out whether there's a bigger concern. If you're ovulating regularly, and having sex at the right time, it may be stress, or it may just not be time yet for you, or there may be other fertility issues like blocked tubes or poor sperm count, or many other things. In the US, the general guidelines are that if a woman is under 35 and hasn't concieved after a year of trying, further tests may be needed to determine whether or not there' s a fertility issue. If she's over 35, six months is usually the suggested amount of time. If you've been trying whatever the appropriate amount of time is for your age, and still aren't pregnant, check in with your doctor (a pre-conception visit is a good idea anyway) and see about further testing or treatment.

that is a HUGE question, and one with no information given. How are we supposed to answer it unless you tell us some things such as:
1> are you actually female?
2> are you of childbearing age?
3> are you having sex?
4> when and how often are you having intercourse?
5> are you charting your fertility signs? (if not, some good info and charting stuff is available for free on www.fertilityfriend.com)
6> have you seen a fertility specialist or a gynecologist?
7> are you taking any medications, if so, what?
8> do you have any health conditions, either fertility related or other?
9> are you overweight?
10> do I REALLY need to write anymore questions or have you gotten the idea that posts like that really serve no purpose?

Try telling us what you HAVE done already and perhaps someone can give you an idea of what else can be done to help you concieve.

I dont know why I am not a doctor. You need to go see your obgyn to determine the reason why your not conceiving. Why would you ask a question as if we know whats going on with your body?
