I live in Tucson, and it is horrible, hopefully you wont be coming in the summer. It is miserable in the summer here. I would say go to Sedona, it is beautiful there, it is one of the most incredible places I have ever been... It is sooooo much better than phoenix and Scottsdale, trust me on this one.

I live in Phoenix, but would recommend Scottsdale. There are great resorts, shopping and fantastic restaurants to eat at. Here's a website that lists many different resorts in Scottsdale, including availability, prices and amenities. Enjoy!

Scottsdale is a nice place to go, they have nice shops, a big mall, and a nice atmosphere. Phoenix is not so geared toward tourism as it is geared toward industry. There is a decent convention center if you're going to a con, but not if you just want to hang out. Go to Scottsdale, and enjoy the downtown. Have a great vacation!

im personally from scottsdale and it is the most amazing vaca spot ever. i reccomend the princess hotel, a bit pricey, but has many pools including one for adults only [no kids!] and if you want to find some shops to visit, downtown scottsdale, and if your into fashion, go to scottsdale fashion square. trust me, you will enjoy your stay 675849302x better if you stay in scottsdale. phoenix is not a vaca spot.
hope i helped and have a nice vacation!

Scottsdale is way nicer than Phoenix, but Phoenix is right next door, if you decide on a day trip or outing??? You will love this mall, they have everything in Scottsdale....

Scottsdale...definitely. Phoenix just won't have what you're looking for. Scottsdale has shopping, nightlife, great dining, did i mention shopping?

You prbobly want Scottsdale's Royal Palms Resort. You can go out on the town, and it seems very fun. My parents go there all the time.
