I think if he retired today, he'd be a hall of famer, maybe not a first ballot but he will definetly make it in. If he continues the pace he is on now he will be a first ballot. By the time his career ends he will have close to 4000 hits which only 2 other people have hit. Pete Rose and Ty Cobb. I see him getting more in the 3775 which would rank him up with Hank Aaron who has 3771 career hits. Even a person who doesnt pay much attention to baseball know that is very good company.

He has already done enough during his career to make the Hall of Fame. He has a lifetime batting average well of .300. He is well on his way to joining the 3000 hit club. The captain of the greatest professional sport franchise in the world. And he has help the Yankees win 6 American League pennants and 4 World Championships. That my friend is a fair days work!!! Yes, Deter Jeter is definitely a hall of famer.

No doubt he is a future Hall Of Famer. Right now he is a Hall Of Famer. He'll go in on his first ballot too. He's also getting a monument at Yankee Stadium's Monument Park and no other Yankee will ever wear number 2 again.

Unless he somehow gets caught up in the steroid scandal, he is already a lock for the Hall of Fame.

What do you mean if he continues what he's doing, he'll make to the hall of fame no matter what.
