Well, assuming alien insects that look like sexy women are out, I'd probably go with goliath beetles. Why? They're so big it's easy to shake them off, and to tell if you still have one on you somewhere after you've shaken them off. Also, unlike some other large beetles they are herbivores and so they probably don't bite very hard.
