with the Saudis and other Sunni's that they will stop the Iraqi Sunnis to lay off killing Shiites if we will eliminate the militias and that is what's happening now and why the level of street violence has abated?

The U.S. government could care less about this civil war that's been waged for over 14 centuries. All the U.S. government cares about is Iraq's easily-accessible OIL. That's why we're there. That's why we're building the world's largest embassy on a 104-acre site in downtown Baghdad overlooking the 'new' Iraqi government's headquarters. The U.S. will remain in Iraq - and in control of its puppet government - until we have sucked every drop of OIL of of that land's sands. -RKO-
