Intel® PRO/1000 CT Network Connection,,?

Is this for internet connections or do I need a 10/100 card.
The pro/1000 is already in a Dell that was given to me.
Oh,,,I am a Computer Dork so please be easy on me.

Yes you can use this one. It's just a new type (faster) of ethernet card but it's compatible with the old type.

the intel pro is intergrated into the motherboard just plug the cat5 cable into it
