if u read the 6th book, then you know that voldemort put parts of his soul into different things, which harry destroyed some of them. i forget what they were called. Harry is one of those things that needs to be destroyed in order for voldemort to die

Some of my friends don't believe it because they think its too obvious and predictable, but yeah I agree he has to die, if Voldemort is going to, and there is no way on earth Voldemorts not going to die, after 7 books with him as the ultimate villain. And besides, I think Harry dying will bring a sense of finality to the series. Also Rowling said something about the books ending in a way that other people couldn't do anything with the characters years from now, and what better way is there to ensure that, then to kill off the main character?

The main reason I think Harry won't die is because I believe Rowling said several years ago that Harry would not die at the end of the series. The second reason is because it is primarily a children's series and I don't believe they would kill off the hero of the books. I have seen a couple of fan fictions where Harry is a Horcrux, but it was not said in the books.

J.K. Rowling cant kill Harry! I just think it'll be to depressing! I think she did say one of the main characters is gonna die, though. I dont really get the horcuxes, (i think thats what they're called) but i dont think harry is one of them. The prophecy thing said "not one could live while the other survives" (or something like that) so if they were both gonna die wouldnt it have said so?
By the way, is anyone else mad that Sirius and Dumbledor is dead. I am, Sirius was one of my favorite characters! I was so sad when he died.

its called a HORCRUX. some people say that the green light that harry remembers from when his parents were killed is from the spell that turned him into a horcrux. some people aslo say that sirius is not really dead and that he plays an important role in the last book. and why is everyone making such a big fuss over dumbledore dying? they can still talk to him using the portraits.

voldemort broke his soul in to seven pieces either while he was in school, or just after he left Hogwarts. he did it before Harry was born and therefore Harry couldn't be on of those things (I forgot the name of them too)

that's what i think too...i've been tellin ppl harry dies in the last book..and i think they're called hoaxs but i dont remember
