There's an old saying:
Para que haya mundo tiene que haber de todo.
This is something like: There's gotta be everything in the world for it to be the world.

If everyone in this world was good then it would be PARADISE!
We would all have healthier families, more fulfilling lives, and fruitful communities.
All of that would require spiritual interest and stability and an intense desire for altruism, these are real only in a scarce number of people. A change for the better will not be easy, specially with our traditional, ambiguous and political-interested religions.
However, it is quiet difficult to get people with an impregnated religious life, beliefs and background to accept that it is not which god icon you worship, but what you do during your life is what is really important. You know, "heaven is achieved through deed, not creed."
Greed dominates many self-centered people!
I find that that is the major problem and cause of why we are far from making planet Terra a peaceful and safe place to live in.
And, pride?...Turn around, there it is. It does not exist.

Everyone is good.
Good and evil don't exist in reality, at least not outside of the mind that believes in them. They are only judgments passed by the individual from their own unique perspective. What one person sees as bad or evil may seem to be the only logical thing to do from some other perspective. The ideas of both good and evil are point of view specific. This is why people like bush and bin laden are either loved or hated. Bush is seen as good by people who share his fear based thought system. Those who have a compassionate concern for all of mankind often see him as evil.
Bin laden is much the same. He is a villain in much of the western world, but he is somewhat of a celebrated pop star on the Middle East. There are T-shirt shops that sell items with his picture as though he was Jesus. It all depends on your point of view or perspective.
To sum it all up good is the name we give to people who do things that we think we like.
Evil is the name we give to people who do the things that we don’t like.
This is of course based solely on our particular point of view.
Love and blessings

A Zen Master lived the simplest kind of life in a little hut at the foot of a mountain. One evening, while he was away, a thief sneaked into the hut only to find there was nothing in it to steal. The Zen Master returned and found him. "You have come a long way to visit me," he told the prowler, "and you should not return empty handed. Please take my clothes as a gift." The thief was bewildered, but he took the clothes and ran away. The Master sat naked, watching the moon. "Poor fellow," he mused, " I wish I could give him this beautiful moon."

I don't think there would have been any difference. Lets face it we all are good. The only difference is that some are more good than others.

are you guys dumb or something? "everyone is good"? "the terrorists happen to be not as good because of what they believe in is good"!
if you smoke, drink, take drugs, cut yourself, have tattoes, etc fine. just don't take others' lives. don't steal. don't deceit.
everyone is good, then you should be happy when you get murdered. smile and kiss them "you are good! good killer! i'm happy to die! keep on killing! keep on doing the good stuff!"
get real.

Is this a trick question? -- the way it would be different is that everyone would be good.

That is impossible since the concept of "good" is subjective.
One person's idea of "good" may be totally contradicting to another's.
Extreme example of this: Killing innocent people to justify their religion is "good" to a terrorist.

An impossible situation because "good" and "evil" are relative terms. Not absolute ones.
