An emotional affair is one where someone gives all their emotions to another person that isn't their spouse. It is very hurtful because the person having the emotional affair is telling this other person many private things that only the spouse should be knowing about. These types of affairs may be very hard to break from and they cause much heartaches for families.

i imagine you've the incorrect theory of what an emotional affair is. it is more beneficial than friendship. that is once you're in love with someone and vice versa. that is once you tell them that you want them. oftentimes without actual contact. besides the undeniable fact that it is none the a lot less a love affair. some imagine once you've an emotional affair with someone, it takes faraway from the marriage if there is one. Maybe its an affair where the actual act doesnt take place .But 2 people get caught up with the feelings for each other. And dont ever do any thing more than think about doing something. Make since?

When they would rather call the other person and talk about problems or tell them about a promotion instead of their wife/husband. They are emotionally attached to the other person in a way that the other person comes first in their minds as their confidant. They think about the other person a lot. It's the beginning of the end of most marriages.
