I bought a new Dodge pickup, it had 27 miles when I bought it, now its having a problem shifting. I dont know if its something major just yet but if it is Im not happy with having a new truck and having to have a bunch of things replaced on it. I bought it here in TN, has anybody had a similar experience. If it turns out to be something minor no big deal but I am not wanting to have a new transmission put in a new truck... I know it would be covered under warranty but thats not the point

I understand how you're upset about there being something wrong with your truck and it's still so new. Sometimes parts are just made badly. It's no one's fault. Dodge makes a good truck but every now and then, something will be a hair out of wack. But don't go storming into the dealership with an attitude. You'll get farther if you're nice and understanding. If you can't be without your truck, ask for a loaner or a rental. I'm sure the service advisor/service department will be more than willing to go the extra mile to make sure you're happy and that your truck is fixed if you walk in there smiling. TRUST ME!! IM A SERVICE ADVISOR!!!

If there's something wrong with the vehicle then take it back to the dealership and request that it be fixed or tell them they can have it back.

My 2006 Chevy Cobalt had 11 miles on it when I drove it home, and it started having hydraulic problems with the clutch a week later.

So I know how you feel getting a new vehicle and having to have it in the shop. I now drive my 96 jeep grand cherokee with over 190,000 miles on it when I leave town.

If it's new and it is within the first year and you have less than 12,000 miles on it you should be able to take it back to the dealer and they should fix or adjust whatever is wrong on your trunk for free under the adjustment period warranty.
