I mean how can you tell your opinion without making other person feel hurt?
In the other hand how can you not talk about delicate things...after all they can break off if you don't pay attention to delicate topics?

With delicate things I mean some topics that I know that might make someone feel bad, but still it is nesscesary to talk openly.

I would ask myself is it necessary to give my opinion in the first place?

Then I would think how I would want to be told if I were on the receiving end. Then say it the same way.

What type of delicate things are you talking about?

Praise other things about them whenever you feel you need to be critical.

It nothing else, you can always thank them warmly for listening and even more so if they agree to do what you want.
