Just one day...but sperm can live up to five days inside of you (the norm being around 3 but they say up to 5)..they hang around and wait for the egg ..therefore the window for pregnancy is longer than a day..a few days before ovulation, the day of ovulation, and the day after ovulation! Good Luck!!

Once the egg is released it has 12 to 24 (although I have also heard 24-48) hours to be fertilized. If the conditions are right inside the woman's body sperm can live inside of her for up to 5 days. So with those numbers you can get pregnant apx 6 to 7 days a month.
