VERY. And i would look forward to the future of longing for a tummy tuck. There seems to be this little "roll" or "buldge" over the incision that never wants to go away.

Congratulations!!!!
I gave birth in September and had a c-section. I think every women is different and 3 days isn't enough time for your body to go completely down from a c-section. It took me a week to get back in my clothes and it took me about 2 to 3 weeks to be comfortable with walking around and picking the baby up. I wore my maternity pants for about 3 weeks to a month to not irritate the incision... Try not to wear your regular jeans even if you can get in them. This is what I did and it helped. I only gained 17 pounds and I had the same problem. What a great Valentines gift!!!

Congratulations on your brand-new Valentine Baby-Boy! But with all due respect, your body is only 3 days post-pregnant! Honey, give it time. Are you breast-feeding? The reason I ask is that when you breast-feed, the baby's suckling helps to 'pull' in the uterine walls. But, even if you aren't breast-feeding, you need to give your body time to return back to it's normal shape and each woman is different. For now, just enjoy every little second you have with him. You have plenty of time to focus on your figure, and trust me, that little bundle of joy will grow so fast. I have a daughter that just recently became 18 and I still wonder where did all the time go?

normally the uterus backs to its normal size after 40 days, breastfeeding is the best thing u can do to help ur body to regain its shape, for the first three month do not think too much about reshaping or losing weight,u have just passed through a major surgery, give ur wound sometime to heal and ur body a chance to normally get rid of excess water that u gained along with ur pregnancy, for the next three months ur body metabolism is on its peak, with exercises and suitable diet u will lose weight so fast and regain ur shape, enjoy ur baby what a wonderful gift u have, wish for u the whole luck

First, Congratulations!!
And yes, its normal to still look pregnant after having the baby. The baby weight will go away with some exercises but I would imagine that you might want to wait a while until your wound heals.

I'm pretty sure you thought that you wore going to look normal like you did before but more than likely you gained allot of weight but did not notice because it was in a nine month period. So just give it some time and start excerciseing again.

Normal. As stretched out as your body gets it takes a while for it to shrink back inot place. Breastfeeding helps speed the process. Congratulations! Heck of a Valentine's Day.

your uterus is still repairing itself and there is still swelling. it will go down soon. Rest for the recommended period of time honey - you just went through a surgery.... when you feel strong enough, start to do your regular exercises routine including walking, and your tummy will go down - but be wary - it may never be the same again no matter what you do.

You had a C-section. They had to cut through muscles and ligiaments to get there. It is going to take quite awhile before you loose your belly...especially since after major abdominal sugery (such as a c section) it takes just about a year to fully heal.

Your uterus grew and has to contract back to normal. If you breastfeed this will happen sooner than if you don't but it will take a little time, relax you have a baby to worry about now
