It's always the same on that show. The contestants sit around and shiver until they win flint. Why don't they just ask some Boy Scouts or read a camping manual and learn how to make fire BEFORE they go on the show?

The producers put it that way to make the show more exciting because i noe that when im cold i really get pissed

AMEN sister. we have been thinking that since the second season. if you want my personal opinion i think its in the "script". i know its a "reality" show, but come on you know thats not true. i mean if i was told, "in a week, im going on survivor, that would be one of the VERY FIRST thing i would learn b/c if there is a tie they make you make fire." except for last year when it took over an hour and a half for jeff to say STOP WE ARE GOING TO MATCHES!"

because they are typical lazy average joe Americans and they figure someone else will know how to do it.
I am a proud American, but you can't deny these people are lazy, extremely actually, why else would they be willing to "work" so hard for such a short time and all that money - so that they never have to work hard again. They have that all or nothing attitude. I would be surprised if any of them ever move on to do anything good with their lives (for anyone other than themselves).

I totally agree with you. I would be learning all kinds of stuff before I went on a show like that one. One of the main things I make sure of is how to make fire. Idiots!!!

haha i know seriouly and they never know like they should bring matchs in ther pocket cz they tell them like a moth ahead there going to be on the show but there sapose to be all dressed up so "try" and trick the views to think they never new they were on survivor my paretns are obssed w/ that show it makes me mas some times
