Why or why not. My friend is such a mess right now because her husband doesn't treat her right and they are always talking about divorce. But she's scared b/c she feels she'll never be able to marry again. I don't know what to tell her.

Yes she can find someone to marry her again. It is very common these days for men to marry women that already have kids i have done it twice. But the key is to find someone that will love your child like their own. Most men are will to love and take care of someone else child so you friend should not worry there is someone out there for them.

I would, being divorced and having a child with you is not the end of the world. It would depend on her and the child, reason for saying that is because, I would not want to date a lady with an uncontrollable kid, like with no manners and no respect. As for the lady if I am attracted and she doesn't act all skitso then yes. Ask her to put herself in a guy's shoes and she was the one going out with a guy who was divorced and had a kid, what could she tolerate and what she can't. If the the child is well mannered and has some respect for adults then a guy will not give it much thought. Good luck.

I am a divorced woman with 2 kids, and it's the best thing I ever did. You will find another man, and I am still a single mom and don't think that I want to ever marry again. Having my independence, coming and going as I please. The dating has been great, divorced men with kids, and single men without. I have found a great guy and he does not have kids, loves mine, but does not want any of his own..don't stay in an abusive relationship just because of not finding another guy.

Tell your friend not to believe that lie for one minute!! She can find a good man that will love her, and her child, better than they have ever been loved in their lives. A lot of the men out there in her age group also have kids themselves, so they're used to children. If she will divorce her sorry husband, she can find a GOOD man!

It is almost impossible to find someone w/o a kid these days, its almost expected. Although kids in the picture will change dating from pre-marrage / kids, but you arent "to be avoided like the plauge". The rules may change but that fact that you ARE datable will not change. I am a single father, and the most important thing for me would be our compatability. Kids are part of the package and thats ok with me...Good Luck!!

I'm not a guy, but I just wanted to assure your friend that there are lots of guys out there who are great guys, and don't mind having a ready-made family. I know lots of women with not just one kid, but several who have remarried. Life is too short to be unhappy, if they can't salvage their marriage, walk away. I hope they are getting counseling before they just toss the marriage away, especially since there is a child involved. Tell your friend good luck.

There are a lot of good men that would be glad to marry a good lady with kids. some men can't have kids and would love a lady with kids. some just don't mind the package deal.

Depends on the woman. Usually, at my age, they have bigger problems than their kids if they're divorced. In fact, sometimes, the kid or two they have is great, and you wonder how that happened when you consider the emotional baggage the mom is carrying around.

Tell her to stick with the Daddy of her children.
It will only mean heartache in the end...of another relationship....you will just trade one sets of problems for another.
