Uniforms in a Christian school are made to represent unison in Christ. Regular clothes in school occasionally attract too much attention from other students in class.

Uniforms keep the kids minds on school and not on who is wearing what plus , because your parent/s don't have to spend money on different outfits all year , they can spend extra and get you something really nice to wear when you are not in school. They are easy to lay out every night and throw on in the morning without having to think much and besides people should base you on who you are and not what you wear ? What happens to the great kids who cannot afford to buy name brands ? People may be missing out on great friendships if they just judge them by what they wear !

I wish we could wear uniforms at work as a lot of times people a judged by the clothes they wear, that way every one is identified also that they do attend there and match. I think there should be more of it!

The piont about a uniform is to show that everyone in a school is equal; there's no rich or no poor.
And they're a bit more affordable and good for poeple who just don't know what to wear every morning or just cannnot afford a different set of clothes everyday.

The main reason for wearing uniforms is so the school students could pay more attention to their school work than what they are wearing.

I have to wear a uniform at school, and I think since its and all girls school i don't care at all I'm not trying to impress the others girls. Its nice just to get up and throw it on without having to worry about it.

some uniforms are used so that people don't wear revealing or skimpy clothing and because you can't make fun of some one for wearing something that they don't have a choice in

well some schools think that its a good thing because kids wouldnt be worrying about their clothes and spend more time on studying.
also makes everyone equal...at my school most people shop at hollister and A&F and people that cant afford it seem kind of intimidated about it.
but i guess thats just how it works

in inner city schools, sometimes "gangsters" walk into the schools when uniforms aren't enforced and security guards @ schools don't recognize them. or so i've heard...
