If you mean in the US, the news media would love to know that, but if you mean in third world countries its pretty complicated. The same big feeling people who want to see to to it that others are fed also think we should not meddle in other people's internal affairs. So sending food to the third world countries may be an exercise in feel good futility. It may also help to prop up bad governments because people are being fed by us and do not demand better government. Would be great if it could be done but again the same people who whine about we need to do more for others perpetuate the corruption that frustrates the act. Somalia was a good example. People were starving on the streets..dying in the streets. While aid sent there was held by the warlords. Clinton sent some troops and then got wimpy and backed off and people here were outraged that we were there where Al Quida was seizing food shipments. So you can't have it both ways. For me, I say we send nothing, anywhere and let people sort things out for themselves. Why feed people who hate you, its like giving money to your brother in law.

There is political corruption in all areas of the government. Best thing to do is to expose it to the media......get the TV stations involved. Best of luck to you.
