American or European, it's difficult to travel and to be French, but why?

Too many U.S. Americans believe what their TV news tells them and wind up with some very strange ideas. They also lack awareness of French etiquette, which leads to awkwardnesses on both sides.
The English just enjoy the rivalry too much to ever let it go. Of course they don't like hearing that the French have problems with the w they're driving up house prices. But then they don't understand why the same thing happens in Wales.
I really like the French people that I've met. People went out of their way to help or make sure that I was sorted over and over again. Things like the owners of the creperie that I often ate at giving me a free bag of crepes the afternoon before a religious holiday, just in case I didn't realize that everything would be closed the next day.

Well the french are very proud of them selfs maybe that ego could be the answer for many countries, im mexican and we don't hate the french, indeed we deteated the french army in one war and was our greatest military honor to win the childrens of the champ du mars or the army of the rhin and we don't have hard feelings, indeed many of the liberals of the army stay here in mexico because they where forced to fight other liberals by napoleon III and people like Victor Hugo support juarez. Dont worry for the stupid feeling of the US people the say that france surrender in world war two, but they forget that without the french help they would be in knees in front of the british monarchy, Frech gave the weapons but the most important is that in the battle of yorktown the french send 10,000 soldiers lead by the General Rochambeauand and a fleet that blocked and defeated the royal navy in Chesapeake bay, and well the american army of george washington only had 8000 men, what a patetic ego of the us people they are in debt with the french, they even cant get their independence alone, without france, the USA would never exist, Lord Cornwallis was so ashame that the american monkeys "had defeated him" that he don't attented to the surrender ceremony with washington
