The best AFC team is tough.Probably the Pats because of the superbowls, but Pittsburgh has been a contender every year except this year.

I believe the AFL became the AFC in 1970. The Patriots have been the most consistent team when it comes to winning regular season games and playoff games which would make them the best. The Colts are also high on that list.

My Favorite team is the Indy Colts, so it pains me to say this, the New England Patriots. You can't argue with their results, I think their one of the closest things you'll see to a Dynasty in the NFL. Ask in another 5 year and the answer will (hopefully) be the Indy Colts!!

If you mean AFC - I would have to argue the Colts. I hate them, but they make the playoffs every season, and now have a super bowl ring after losing one of their best players in Edge James.
