It is controlled by the Cleric's. Also the President Mahmound Ahmadinejad, who thinks he is indispensable. I believe that the Iranian people are tired of war. The people feel the pretense to Islamic rule is a big lie! And it is! The head of the regime feels it will make Iran invincible, forcing the U.S.A. and Israel to deal with Iran on their terms. Makes sense to me.

Would'nt think so.Thier president was elected by popular vote.So too was GWB.What the iranian president knows,it's easy to rattle the US cage.Just say something inflamatory about the isrealis or Washington and the US will react like a bull in a china shop.
And the world watches.

yes grand aytollah al sastani not spelled right but he is there supreme leader which controls all branches of goverment religion and teachings however i dont think the people of iran want a war with the allies
