A Hard Day's Night, Help! With the Beatles, Beatles For Sale, or Rubber Soul. Sorry, I can't choose; I like songs from all of them. I haven't had the priviledge of hearing Revolver yet, though.

Stuck on a Desert Island, I would have to go with Abbey Road. It is close. The Past Masters collections are great, but not released during the Beatles' time. I wouldn't count them.

Funny you would ask this...I spent the better part of the morning transferring Beatles music from CD to cassett tape....the British versions are different from the American versions.....We Americans never got , "Please Please Me" as an album. We did, however, get "The Beatles Second Album"...it is never mentioned!!
At this RED HOT SECOND, I think I'll say, the British release of "Help!" When I was copying it,today, I only left out "Act Naturally."
I don't know if the kids of today realize the genius of the Beatles....not only are the songs GREAT.....listen to the guitar playing and to the delicious harmonies...here is a wonderful example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3Y85iLkb24

The Beatles (or the White Album) is the best album because it's got the most songs, and they are so diverse. You go from Back in the USSR, to While my Guitar Gently Weeps, to Why Don't we do it in the Road

As with all fine things, those albums, and the individual songs, each stand on their own, and do not need to be ranked as proof of excellence.
That's a polite way of saying that I couldn't choose if I had to. Fortunately, I DON'T have to--I have the pleasure of cherishing them all.
