here's what you need to know...besides the medical stuff: stock up on tampons, midol, chocolate (extra), and plan on being in the worst mood of your life and everyone annoying you for at least the first 3 days. oh yeah, and you will probably hate men for a little bit there. for the medical advice go to www.webmd.com.

Go to any of the sites that sell feminine hygeine products (Tampax etc) They have tons of information!! And, talk to your mom!! She would love to have this talk with you!
