I have absolutely no idea as to the exact reason, but I do know for a fact that she was crying at the time. Before the haircut, she called up a salon that was closed at the time. When the salon opened just for her, she started to shave her own head herself without any of the staff's assistance. Why didn't she just buy a pair of cheap hair clippers at Wal-Mart? Why go to an upscale salon? Then she goes to get a tattoo on either her wrists or the back of her head, depending on what your sources are. i think i know what happened to britney. 1 of 2 things. 1. she shaved her hair off to get rid of the head lice she got while hanging with paris hilton and sleeping in hotel beds!!! or 2. she has just been told she has cancer and will need to undergo chemotherapy, so she decided to shave her hair rather than have it all fall out.

man, britney's gone nuts.....she shaved off all her hair. jeez whos the heck is taken care of her kids....i feel bad for the kids. she needs some serious help. During the beginning of her career I would never expect her to end up like a total bum.
