Id have the poke in the eye. It wont hurt it would just sting for a bit. A finger slammed in the door is dangerous and would hurt like hell.

finger in the door. if you lost an eye due to a finger poke you only have one left and no depth perception. lose a finger to freak dooring accident and you still have 9 others and your 3d vision
