i have mixed feelings about this, one because i think that maybe calling them cages was what makes this look bad ,maybe call it confined, maybe for the childerns safty at night, but i can also see that ,that was not the way to do it,if you take on the roll they did it is 24 /7 supervision so no need for the confinment, right, maybe just an ezay way for the parents to control the children and get some sleep ,I my self have not followed this case all the way ,but have read some things in the paper,I do feel it was for the money and i do feel sorry for the childern because i have saw pictures of like christmas time and other days where their was lots of presants and happy times,so the children as wrong as it might be to 'cage them' they have had to live life like that for a long time and that is what they know and now life for them has changed that also has to have a big inpact on them ,yes i do think the confindment was wrong and harmfull to the children.I also think the courts were right.

Hard to say without knowing what kind of people they are otherwise or what their parenting skills were when the children were not caged. Having been involved with learning disabled and emotionally disturbed children, I can understand why it might seem necessary to non professional care givers...sad.. sad ..sad.. for the children and our health and foster care system that does not give proper support and care to the children or parents..

I don't think that any human being should be treated like an animal. They were only keeping those kids to collect a check
that was supposed to pay for their needs. Being locked in a cage
was never part of the deal!

I have not heard the testimony, but putting kids in cages cannot be right. They may have not hurt them physically, but mentally is a whole other problem. They did some wrong in my opinion

If they couldnt handle the children any other way, they should have given them up.
