You are a girlfriend. You are not a wife or a guardian of these kids. Whatever drama is between the exwife and your boyfriend, stay out of it. Why would you want to be involved in that anyway?

I am particularly talking about the women who say, "My boyfriend's exwife didn't pick up the kids, what can I do, blah, blah.", There doesn't appear to be anything for HER to do.

I agree with you, I am a step mother now, and I have never wanted to be any part of that drama. It is best to sit back and let them fight out their differences. My husband's ex was always trying to get me involved with their problems and I finally just started handing the phone to him and had to tell her leave me out of it.

OMG.....either you are a child or you are the ex. WE get involved because when we got in the relationship with this man we got in a relationship with his child too. I think that you need to grow up and realize that.

when a man and woman are involved, they are involved in each others lives..The kids and the ex are part of your life.

well if my mom gets a boyfriend and he doesnt ever try to be involved in my life then my mom will stop dating him as she isnt looking for a fling and also id make his life a living hell!

because you are a part of those kids life! you live with them for god sake! if you get a wife / man who have kids living at home, will you just ignore if they are sad, if they are mad etc ? and if so i would advice you NOT to get a wife / man with kids...................
