I used to carry a large thermos full of very hot water, plus a couple of bottles of spring water. I'd mix my bottles as needed out of that.

When I am at a restaurant, I ask for a mug of hot water, and I dip the milk in the bag alone in the water until it is warm to the touch. I found a bottle warmer at Babies R Us that wraps around a bottle and plugs into the cigarette lighter. I put the milk in a regular baby bottle and heated it up on the way to where I was going. I then poured it into the Playtex drop in when I arrived. You can also heat it up at home, and if you are not going too far, by an insulated bag for baby bottles, and it should stay warm up to an hour. I loved the drop in's they really helped with the gas in my baby's tummy.

Go to the food court and ask somebody for a hot cup of water. Sit the bottle in and it's warmed in a minute or two. I did this when I traveled by plane when I wasn't comfortable nursing in public being covered! Worked like a charm. Hope this helps.
Do not use a bottle warmer that is dangerous..

Just FYI for everyone....You CAN NOT use a car bottle warmer to heat up the Playtex Drop-Ins bottles.........The best would be to use a car warmer to heat up a reg. bottle then transfer to the bag in the Playtex...
Or I agree with hot water...usually works pretty well!!

cup of hot water to sit the bottle in would work . Although I don't bottle feed this baby thats how I used to heat them up when I was out . As for in the car ... I would heat it before getting in if baby needs a bottle then.

I wouldn't heat up a bottle and put it in a diaper bag and run the risk of incubating bacteria. Hot running water over the bottle in any restroom until the formula temperature meets your requirements will work in a pinch.

room temperature bottles are just fine for babies. heat them up before you go if you'd like. when i worked in restaurants i had a lot of women just ask for a hot cup of water to set the bottle in for a few seconds.... you could stop at drive thru's and get that if you wanted. oh and they also make bottle warmers with a cig. adapter on them for cars... walmart has them.

I don't. I just use room-temp distilled water. Or, if it's really important to me to give him a warm bottle, I either run it under really hot tap water for a few minutes (with the cap on, of course) or bring a thermos with warm water in it.
