Heck no. Europe is now mad about their little union. Larger a nation is, the larger the corruption. We should break up the U.S.. If you look at various national surveys, small nations do better in it. Pay - the Low land countries. Life span- Monaco, Singapore, San Marino(Hong Kong use to be second, until CHina did it in). Child Welfare - Netherlands. Justice system - Singapore. We should of listen to Reagan and given back more rights to the states, rather than centralize the federal power like Clinton and W Bush did. I bet the democrats are now regretting line item vetos now. US did well in only one survey that I know about. Efficiency. That means we can get our workers to produce more goods(money) than any other developed nation in the world. That means in laymens term, that companies can make us work harder than any other country. YEAH!!! Large nations are too slow and too difficult to manage. Money well centralize into the hand of the few. Small business will go bankrupt, and be replaced by large oligopolies. Thats Walmart and Target .

so we extend mexico into the middle west states and canada into the sea side advantaged states ,perhaps we can get a 2 state solution ,one with all the wealth
the other with all the poor ,sounds like 2 states would be a better solution ,
bur seriously it would seem a good idea
but it will never happen
we need to reduce big govt not make it bigger
shorten the gap between ritch and poor perhaps it may work ,
but its not going to happen anytime soon
why would canada lower its high medical standards ,to settle for the excessive high costs of us meds [drugs]and guns culture

well from canada's view which i am proud to say is my country i think that to form any relationship with mexico is too weaken canada some how however i hope from my countrys sake it is just a way to compete with the european union .......... but mexico is rampant with incomptance in my opinion drug dealers, immigration, and unsolved murders is all the headlines that i hear invlving mexico honestly i might be wrong but i dont even think they are helping or fighting in the war on terror ....canada and america should stick together even then canada is debt free and america owes chinese bankers trillions. god bless

Actually Mike...aleg, it's an idea being proposed by the Administration, not the libs. Sorry .

I've been hearing about this for over 6 months. CNN's Lou Dobb's has mentioned it from time to time.

Come on! It'll be just like a corporate merger. Don't conservatives love that sort of thing? Bigger, better, badder? But I think we should just use the Canadian form of government.

I'm sure mexico would love it. I'm sure this idea comes from the left wing loony toons. There would be civil war before that would happen.
