I JUST had a baby who is now 10 months old and named Augustus Matalino Almazan. My unborn baby's due date is set for Feb. 25, and to be induced on Mar. 1. Essentially, they will only be about 11 months apart. I am Black and their dad is Filipino. The 10 month old has a Filipino middle name and I would like to do the same for the newborn, but I can't find any I like with a good meaning also. I was thinking Lalanti for a middle name but I don't think that's Filipino. Any suggestions for a first and middle name??

Noooo, name him Nordorico (Nor-Dough-Ree-Ko) cause the baby's ethnic backgrounds are obviously two cool ethnicities, so baby needs a COOL name. lol. That's an awesome name though.

With Augustus as a sibling, I would NOT choose Roman for the baby. It makes it sound like you're obsessed with Julius Caesar (ancient Roman leader, "Caesar Augustus").

Roman sounds much more majestic. It is more powerful than Romen which reminds me of the noodles that you heat up and eat out of the plastic package. No disrespect... I am a teacher, and parents have too much fun with the names. Keep it simple. Roman is cool!!

Depends if you will be living in the philippines, than I think you can select a good name. My nephew and his wife chose Journee for their daughter's name. It is unusual in that select a name you like and change the spelling. It is your baby so do with flow of what is confortable with you. I like Romano better. That can sound spanish, italian, filippino, or any other latin name.

The Philippians were settled by the Spanish, so the name Romeo is good to use.
