Reid denied the Republicans any chance at amending the resolution denouncing the troop build up, but then accused the GOP of being obstructionists for not voting for the blantantly partisan legislation.

Is he truly that delusional or is he just off his meds?

He'd be easier to stomach if he were only "delusional" or "off his meds".

The more frightening realization is that he's neither. He's a very bright and calculating politician who knows that while we're having these discussions, most of America is not tuned in. They're just sucking up the soundbites and wallowing in the fear conjured up by Harry Reid and his compatriots.

Their objective? To win the White House in 2008.

What happen to Q&A and dialogue? The bulk of this stuff in USA Politics & Gov just seems to be about venting. What does it accomplish? No one seems any happier for it ... the postings never improve. No one is informing anyone. If anyone even had a valid point sandwiched in the criticism, it would get lost. What a disappointment.

I see Y!A is limiting thumbs up and thumbs down ... removing some of them after placement. I noticed because I check back to see additional answers on some questions today, hoping for some real input and that's when I saw the thumbs up and downs had been removed. It was kind of pleasant actually. It was like seeing a wall freshly painted after gangland graffetti has been removed.

I see you're trying to tone down the questions a bit and not ranting makes the issues easier to consider. Conservatives, Liberals, Moderates and Independants have one thing in common. The decisions we made or didn't make and supported or didn't support, will be judged hindsight by future generations. I don't want to be seen as a generation that spent so much time bicker and picking fights with each other within our own borders, that we had no serious dialogue on the issues. I hope you aren't trying to pick another fight out the backdoor of the bar ... we All have a long way to go ... including Harry Reid.

They lost but he claimed victory for sure delusional. Want President Bush to change direction, but has no direction himself. Oh but here is the absolute best answer from Piglosi and Reid - they believe that diplomatic communication with the Terrorists will bring about understanding between the, as they call them insurgents and us. Through communication we should be allowed to live in peace -- That's like asking a serial killer not to kill any more.

He is simply going out on a limb to help advance the far Lefts unrelenting thirst for power. Even if it costs the lives of countless Americans they will fight anything the right attempts to improve or anything that has proved fruitful.
Shame on Reid, Palosi, Dean, Kerry, and Kennedy for their political unrelenting thirst for power far outweighs what even they think would be best for America as a whole.

You left out the best part, Jesi - Ho-Hum Harry then went on to declare victory (!) after losing the vote. With morons like him and Little Nancy this Congress is gonna be GREAT fun to watch!

The answer to your second question is that Ho-Hum Harry and Little Nancy are very, very weak when it comes to leadership skills. I look back to some of the Dems' past leaders and this pair comes up waaaayyyyyy short. Good for us. Not good for Dems.

He like so many right now, reserve the right to change their mind immediatly after makeing up their minds not to make up their mind incase someone disagrees with them. He's not delusional, he's typical of what is going on in America. Seems NOBODY sticks to their guns anymore and how can you possibly respect that. I'm appauld when I hear these idiots speak today then in turn change everything they say. The president one day says global warming is a myth and when speaking to the nation it's ssooo important we do something about it. STICK TO YOUR GUNS.

He thinks that just because liberals won back a few seats that everyone will agree with him. I got news for him. They only have two years to blow it. And I dont think it will take that long. I already see signs that the news media is turning on Pelosi. Im sure Reed will be next. And you are proof that we can see right through the lies of the left.

Sounds just like the same nonsense the repubelickins have been pulling for the last few years.

I don't recall hearing you complaining about it then?

Both sides are hypocrites, The similarities so far outweigh the differences as to make them inconsequential. By constantly condemning one without condemning the other your agenda is quite obvious. Your disguise as a libertarian is as transparent as the breeze.
