What do you say that just not quite right.

sorry , in Canada they say about, in Scotland they say aboot.

I only say Aboot if I am initating a Scot and my family have been in Canada since 1778.

Aboot is an Eastern thing I think, because I am Canadian but in the West and we say About. I do know we don't say Y'all but we do say 'eh! and Auntie if pronounced Anti.

In rhode island we usually take the r's out of words when we pronounce them like I say ca instead of car
