I have old Rolling Stone, and Maxim magazines and i dont know what to do with them. They are pilling up in my room and i want to put then to good use. Any suggestions?

Take them to your nearest library. Or at least a fairly large sized library. They probably have a magazine section, and would love to take them off your hands. My library even gives you like those papers so you get a little discount on your taxes, or whatever they are called. Its really cool to look at magazines at the library, my library has like vogue from when it first came out and other magazines from like the 60s and 70s and stuff, its uber cool to look at.

Depends on the magazines!! LOL!! OK, a really fun thing to do is to make collages; you cut out things you like and glue them onto posterboard and make collages. If this isn't your thing, you might have a friend who'd like it. Or, you can donate the magazines to a local recycling firm, or you could give them away to friends/family who have similar interests, or donate them to a doctor's, dentist's office if they aren't more than about 6 months old, or if they are things like Reader's Digest which never really "goes out". You could also find a local mental health youth program, and they will use them for collages (again, careful of the material.)

If you don't want them, but still don't want to waste them, you can always recycle them. Or maybe give them to a school if the magazine is appropriate for ages 5-10.

I recommend making collages. I did that with my old J-14 and TWIST magazines from my googly-teen days... It is especially fun to make them for friends. I made this Usher collage card for my friend and she freaked!
