I appreciate that I can see, hear, and walk normally. That I have 3 kids who are all normal. That I have a roof over my head and a car to drive and food to eat. That I have a large family that I can call any time and talk about anything. That I don't give up on what is important to me.

That I am healthy, because I had the fore thought to take care of myself. That I have a well paid job that I enjoy, thanks to both working and studying hard to get it. That I had parents who cared enough to give me the sort of education that would enable me to have the first two. Sadly when they were alive, I did not appreciate their effort perhaps as much as I should have.

Waking up next to my husband, properly cooked pasta, having my mum around, the delight in my 3 year old nephews eye's when I go to visit :)
