Well I have already made that choice.
I chose the one I love.
The life I love didn't exist, so the answer was simple. (Bird in hand or bird in the bush.) So hear I am, I went with what I had.
It's hard, but slowly my life is turning toward the original plan, but with a huge modifications and compromise.
Some people have chosen the opposite. They went everywhere and did everything. My life is a constant struggle. I do have one advantage over them. I have family, a clear path in life, and a substantial acquisition of material things.
What it comes done to is. Are you independent? Will the one you love let you be independent? Is this person so special that your are absolutely sure you will never have it so good with anyone else?
I found that person and we are trying to build the dream life together rather than by myself.
You could have a crappy life but if your right person it wont matter.
This is the opinion of a married man. I'm 25, my wife is 24 and we have been together 7 years, married for 2 years.
Make sure you ask a verity of people.

The life you love. Because the love of your life may end up not being the love of your life after all.
Now if you're already married to the love of your life and he continues to be the love f your life then stick with him and you will be living the life you love, but if he's some guy you love from a non commited relationship, move on and enjoy the life you want.

I would choose the love of my life, which means if it is really the love of my life this relationship is blessed, and then with the love of my life turn our life together into a life we both love.

Someone I know chose the life she loved, which was travel and took her away from the love of her life, and now she regrets it. She tried to make contact with him again, but to no avail. I'd choose my love, a thousand times...

I'd choose the life I love. I'd rather live the life I love, and be alone, that be with the love of my life and hate the life I live in.

That is not a difficult question for me.
I would definitely choose the love of my life.
Why?
Because the love of my life would give me the happiness that would fulfill me and the opportunity to cultivate a long-lasting relationship. A life of luxury and/or fame is secondary or non-existent compared to a meaningful relationship.
