I'd like to think so. Even if they aren't nasty ones!!
We can't be the only highly intelligent species in the whole of the universe, can we??
There may be species out there that are alot more intelligent than us. They may have designed space craft that is far better than anything we can ever imagine.
I just hope I don't see an alien, I'd pap meself!!

The discoveries of planets around other stars seem to be removing doubt that conditions favorable to life exist in other places in the universe. Yet, most are exceeding far away. I do believe that alien forms of life, even intelligent life exist. Yet,
I do not think that aliens have visited earth, nor do I fear invasion, but only faintly hope for some form of knowledge of them or contact with them.

going by you question it seems like you are getting bored waiting for an invasion.
however Professor Chandra Wickramasinghe, of the Cardiff Centre for Astrobiology believes that earth is constantly getting invaded by Alien bacteria from outer space such as the Sars virus and the influenza virus of 1919 that killed 20 million people.
if he is correct not only are we getting invaded we are also getting systematically exterminated on epic proportions.
so what do they look like? well forget about little green men and start worrying about little green boogies.

They may do, they may not. To be perfectly honest, I can't see why they'd want to invade this planet anyway.
With the amount of possible places for life to evolve, there could be millions of other planets out there with life on. They say that just about any life form you could imagine probably does exist. (this was based on the formula for calculating the amount of species out there in the universe)

The answer is no, we won't get invaded. It just just too far and difficult to travel between stars. Aliens are too lazy to travel the light years to get here,

No ,but i think that maybe were being visited as an observed planet ,nothing too scary just the sort of thing we would do in looking at history.Maybe they too just want to learn .Thats not too far fetched is it. And not too much to expect .WE DO IT .

Maybe we already have.
It would certainly provide some explanations to the behaviour of the worlds leaders.
Pitting us at each other for there own entertainment.

Like us they can only speculate that we exist.
They could look like anything science fiction could imagine.
