I have not seen many people other than some of her family show any sorrow over her passing?

I don't mean any offense by this but when you die.....isn't it just going to be your family and friends who are really sad by your passing? I'm pretty sure when I go...only my family and friends will truly be sad.

Unless you actually personally knew her...you have nothing to really be sad about. You haven't lost anyone or anything.

I think its a sad circumstance that she died at such a young age and that she left behind a very small baby daughter and that her life was never in order, it was always in shambles. Its a shame. But I personally was not affected by her life and am not grieving...and don't think I should be.

What I think is sad is how many people make jokes and discount her life. A life is a life. Just because you didn't make the very best of it, doesn't mean that you should be ridiculed and minimized after death. Someone loved her and someone is grieving for her....

I am. I was actually a fan of hers before she went crazy. I liked her when she was the Guess model, she had a healthy body image and it was good for young girls that weren't a size zero to see that that was OK. Then she went kinda nuts, got HUGE, and still was famous, but more as a joke. That was sad. And then she lost the weight, probably thinking that would make people take her seriously again, but it didn't, she was just a bigger joke. She was attacked when her daughter was born, attacked when her son died, and now she's being attacked in her own death. She's dead people, let her rest in peace, as anyone else has the right to do.

Yes. I am very sad. She seemed to be a troubled woman whose rough background prevented her from managing her fame. While not very talented (except as the face and body of Guess Jeans), she was largely inoffensive, never a hint of racism (unlike Paris Hilton) or mean-spiritedness. Too young to die. I have felt sad since the day I heard.

Yes I am sad. It's a shame when anyone dies young like that, esp. with a new baby who will never get to know her Mom.

Rest in Peace, Anna Nicole.

when i found it was surprise.. then was sad about how people now fighting for her body.. It seem as everyone wanted her to be buried near her son and her stupid mom believe she wanted to buried in Texas which i donot think that what she wanted.. I think she wanted to be next her son...
Her family maybe just wanted the money because of her daughter.. Will there a lot of people make fun of her.. I think that wrong.... and that she wanted peaces from stupid people in her life.. and there reason why she move out of texas... I do not think her family understand her as much as the people who was really close to her...

I'm not sad at her passing. I think it is sad to watch the wreck of her life and the mess her so called love ones are making now that she is gone. I never cared for her but it is sad to watch a life wasted.

I am sad that she is dead and I think Stern encouraged her drug behaviour and is behind her son's death also. I think he is a sneaky creep and I hope the authorities nail him. I think he knew that the cumulitive effect of the prescribed Methadone could be lethal and hoped he could marry her before she died. She was very vunerable and I think he counted on that to his advantage. He is a scoundrel to not let the grandmother she her grand daughter also..

as evidenced by her behavior, anna nicole smith was an emotionally bankrupt, attention-seeking shell of a person whose only real concern was herself and her whims. she was even so self-centered she taught her son to be just like her- she didn't even love her own child enough to teach him the right things. seeing him die first was her punishment. i'm sure that sounds pretty harsh- its meant to.
she was very successful at bringing all kinds of attention to herself. she must be lovin' the death-hype!!!!!
