I'm drawing a character in a comic for a school project, and I want to draw my character very excited. Is there any other way to make him appear that way other than wide eyes and high brows?

Hands moving up and down. Person jumping up and down. Mouth open and smiling.

Hands on the face (cheeks). What a shocker. I once drew a comic for a school project. It was about mass, density, and weight. It was about ninjas.

You can add ‘zoom lines’ (or, ‘speed lines’) to make it obvious he is running around fast. And you can show ‘sweatles’: little drops of perspiration flying from his head…!

1) Draw him with eyes like three lines:

and draw him with a really large cresent mouth like this:
